Brad and Dave do the Big Wheel August '06

This is just a few pictures of Brad and I on the big wheel in Windsor during August, pay your £6 each (thanks Brad!)and the next minute you are hundreds of feet above the ground with spectacular views of Windsor and the Thames. Great fun! I think it gets taken down in early Sept 06 so you'd better get along quick if you fancy it.

Dancing 31st August

Went to my 8th Jive lesson tonight, and boy do I struggle with it! The mixture of no natural rhythm, two left feet and no memory leave me floundering on the dance floor as other couples whirl around me in a controlled frenzy! If you are interested go to www.gingerjive.com and check out the video lessons on there! Not sure I'll see lesson 9... My mate Big Rog is great and if I new he what he knows I'd be laughing. Men can't multi task and Jiving means doing just this. We'll see what next week brings.

August Bank Holiday 2006

Last weekend was a bank holiday and also my 18 year old sons birthday weekend (Brad) so we set off with my best freinds Anne & Nick down to the Fordingbridge in the New Forest to the V Twin motorcycle rally hosted by www.motoguzziclub.co.uk Anne took her Dragstar with Brad on the back and Nick and I went by 4x4 (wimps) as we didnt know what the score was for getting in. As it worked out we got in fine.Brad had a smile on his face when he got off the bike but he did look chilly, so did Anne! This was the start of another wicked weekend of fun and frolics!

The band we all follow www.neverthebride.com were playing Saturday night and they were just brilliant! Listen to Never the Bride here. They dedicated a song to Brad which was just great.

During Saturday we all visited a good old fashioned summer fete just down the road and had a great time wandering around there. The weather was perfect, warm and sunny, and we cooked breakfast outside our tents and generally had fun for 3 days. Sunday saw us go to another fete maybe not as good but they did have an inflatable game that enabled you to knock your mates head off, this resulted in Anne bending her nail back(eak!)and me being crowned Pujal stick champion. There was also a bird of prey display but it was a bit boring...to say the least! Sunday night we were all pooped, apart from Brad and a quiter night ensued. Returning home dead early on the Monday morning for Brad to get to his birthday party, we sure had a great time...

Personal

Hi there and welcome to my new Blog page. I'll be updating it regularly to tell you all about my strange and eventful life on this little blue planet. I hope you enjoy my Blog.

This is me at a recent party sporting my surfer look! Well it is Summer I guess...

As well as my, Aherm, beach bum look I also do lots of motorbiking, heres my bike, a BMW R1150GS and yes that is snow! My bike and I have ridden over 16,000 miles in the last year, all over the UK from John O Groats to Lands End and over to Denmark, Fantastic!
I used to ride it everyday in all weathers now I prefer my little sports car, my Copen, its a little turbo charged roller skate! Black with red leather and fully loaded with gadgets, a great fun little car and although only 660cc it does 115mph and 0-60 in 9 seconds! Oh and its an open top in 20 seconds! How cool is that!
My Brother Ian is a huge part of my life, he's a real dude and I wish I was more like him, here he is squeezing a strange woman to death. He's big and muscly and the ladies love him, although his forehead is growing over his whole head now! He's married to Lesley, has a dog, Laddie, drives around in an old series III Land Rover and is as happy as can be. He's always had lots of hobbies, currently Bonsai trees, Kayaking, mountain biking and repairing the aforementioned Land Rover... There's about 3 people in this world I'd jump in front of a bullet for, and he's one!

I have a son called Bradley, he's 18 now (unbelieveable looking at me I know...) and he's doing alright for himself as a trainee engineer, he's got a car and is currently saving for a place of his own. We recently went to Windsor and took a ride on the big wheel there. Its pretty cool that he still wants to hang with his old man, makes me feel I must be a trendy Dad ;>)
